SPEEDS ON A 3500 WITH 4:10 REAR?

i have a 1999 3500 with a 4:10 rear with a auto transmission. i would like to know what are the top speeds some other rigs like mine get to? i've gotten mine to about 85/90 at best. i've done some bombing so that might help out the top end, but i'm not sure. thanks,guys! this is the best site on the web! i can't get away from it! thanks in advance... james. .

I have a 5 speed and when stock I could hit the rev limiter in 5th at 96 mph. You should be a little faster than that with the taller final ratio of the auto.

1998 3500 QC 4x4 5 speed 4:10, 235-85-16, VA CPC via JRE, PS Boost Module, RV 275 injectors, K&N air filter.

Y2K Auto 4. 10 QC 4x4 empty with 2 people in cab 98 MPH and then it just laid down. That was with 3000 miles on truck--now it has 11,750 put haven't tried it again.

Ive never had mine above 95 but at that speed I am turning a tad over 3000.

My 2001 HO 6sp 4x4 will run 115 bone stock I don't know what the gear ratio is but 70mph= 2krpm.

My 99 3500 Q-cab with 11k miles, has been up to 90mph then ran out of straightway.
(Didn't want to attempt a corner at that speed! After all it's not a 7,000lb Ferrari!)

RAMHEAD3437. . you not much over 95/98 MPH with 4. 10 gear and stock tires. . with the 33's you'll go a tad bit over 100

Mark_K you have a 3. 54 gear as the 4. 10 will not see that speed

I passed several 'Hell's Angel's' going to a rally in Bridgeport,CA last year on HWY 395 , at over 100 mph, BEFORE my 'EZ' and 'DD2's' plus Bill k. 's 'DTT'.
Now, it is nothing to get to 90+mph when on a freeway onramp merge #ad
