Spend time with your Daughter's

Went into town to have Breakfast with the Pards this morning. I needed fuel so when I stopped a good looking girl 25 to 30 came running out of nowhere shoved her cell phone in my mug & asked WHAT'S THIS? it's a Cell phone that if you don't get it out of my face is going to be tossed into the road!! Getting it near arms length I asked if it was a picture of her dash lights? YES she said what's that mean? The check engine light was on, when I told her that it could be any number of things it needs to be looked at. SOME HELP YOU ARE!! I told her & her passenger to come in have Breakfast and our town Car Know-it-all will be here shortly. Fred is a cantankerous old fart told her that he left his magic wand in the shop finish your breakfast and I'll look at it.

Please let your loved ones know that this is an UGLY, NASTY WORLD WE LIVE IN BE CAREFUL.

Yes it is and getting weirder by the day. I do not usually carry but the thoughts are going thru my mind more often.

I wrestle with this daily on how much of the wild world we live in do I let my 4 year old daughter know about. You want to protect them as much as you can but at some point to protect them you have to let them know what you are protecting them from.

I noticed that Gail was texting on his cellular phone something that I thought would NEVER happen.

When the girls came into the cafe they were counting their money to see if they could afford to pay for breakfast. Gail caught the eye of the waitress and wiggled his finger over his plate which generally means to give someone the samething.

Freddie sat with Gail starring a hole through him until Freddie asked Gail if he was going to get any rest before fixing their car? His answer to the question came in a takeout box with Gail's big smile.

Gail paid the tab for all of their food & went to the shop. He went to the Napa store & back to the shop. The Girls drove away a few minutes later.

Gail claims Donations on our taxes. I think that he's about the only one that does so with a guilt free feeling that I know of.

That is exactly what has to happen nowadays. They need to be fireproofed.
