Well, I'm glad to know what social class I'm in, thanks to the eloquently spoken Mr. Ritz. :-laf

I enjoy watching "Trucks", too. Stacy was actually in our Myatt Drive store the other day when I was there. He said he still has most of the project trucks. He said he's starting a new show that will show a little more variety. It will involve trucks, cars, motorcycles, and more. That's all he would say. He was buying tail lights from a Yamaha Roadstar for some project, I can't remember if he said it was a car or a truck. I didn't know they were continuing "Trucks" without him. I have the new show Tivo'd, guess I'll go watch it.

I always wondered if Mel wasn't a little sweet on Stacy. :-laf

Well, that was a let down. Kevin Tetz wasn't bad but what's the deal with Paul Vinson? Looks like they're trying to play off of "American Chopper" a little too much. He brings absolutely nothing to the show in my opinion. A little too much "over-acting" for me. Seems like these type of shows are either too dry or over-acted. I thought Stacey had a good balance. Oh, well.

I do agree with this statement. But, Stacey did some over acting as well sometimes. That annoying chuckle he'd do when he was playing with a product he just installed annoyed me the most. But, you know it could be worse. They could have brought that clown Mel Fair back.

Bring back the Mullet! Now that's funny. I must say I have never used Trucks! for it's technical content, but After sleeping in on Saturday morning it is enjoyable to watch with bleary eyes while I get something to eat. Out of that whole "Power Block" thing, his was the only show that wasn't an over-acted infomercial. It was still an infomercial, but at least he seemed to be having fun. Definitely better than watching Ginsu knives.

i here to tell you that i have put the same combo on other trucks same year and never even came close to that hp # that is a compleate joke :-laf :-laf not to mention you will never those #'s with the stock fuel system----who are they trying to fool. :-laf :-laf

I just hope they finally finish sgt rock. only been waiting like 2 years for it

Sgt. Rock won't be finished on Trucks!. Its owned by Stacey, so it'll be finished on his new show he's developing.

i guess i'll have to wait for that new show to see the end of that... a diesel would have been better than the gasser for it, but it does get stacks ;)

Yeah, I completely lost all interest in that project when Stacey announced that a Cummins wasn't gonna be put in it.

Disclaimer at the end of the show

I believe I saw a disclaimer at the end of the program indicating that some of the particulars to get that horsepower level were omitted. Don't you think the stock turbo would have disintegrated?

Someone mentioned on another site about the dyno graph showing a spike when the truck shifted. Hence the 880hp. If someone has it Tivo'd, go back and look at it and let us know. I also noticed the exhaust manifold but didn't see a turbo. You'd think they'd mention a transmission. And I'm with the rest of you... the new hosts are lame.

I am wrong on the year. I thought that's what they said. The name on the truck was Diesel Inferno and there website says it's an 05.

There is noooo wayyyy that thing has a stock turbo and also they would have drained the rail of fuel... There's more to that truck than what their saying. I'm going to go over to spike and ask them to spill the beans on that truck. That's false advertising.
