Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Splines on Dana 70 pinion

I need to order some stuff and am debating going ahead and getting the whole rearend redone.

Ring, pinion etc. I have alot of the stuff already together.

I went to order a R&P... .

One site says the pinion is 26 spline another says it is 29 (same as Dana 70).

Does anyone know which it is?

It is a Dana 70U in the 96 in sig.

Should be 29 splines.

They must have flipped the number over by accident.
The only 26 spline Dana I could find is a 44
