dodge ever come stock w/exhaudt brake

Are these available for the Cummins ? They were very popular in '50s-'60s with the old inline chev and ford gas engines... ..... JIM

Guess I should have gave more info. Manifold i'm looking for is split 3 into 1 for a true dual exhaust . Exhaust port 1 2 3 into one pipe and 4 5 6 ports into another pipe. Dual exhaust , the old style, with dual 36'' glass packs sure had a nice deep rumble..... JIM

How do you plan on getting those two seperate pipes into your turbo inlet, and then back out again as two seperate pipes?

:D

Not gonna happen. ATS is about the only aftermarket manifold available. If you want dual exhaust, you gotta split the single pipe after it comes off the downpipe section from the turbo.

Just to remind some people that all Cummins don't have turbo's and need serious answers... ... . Thanks ... JIM

which one you talking about?

Thought I was giving a serious answer considering where you asked it (a Dodge/Cummins website, where 99. 9% of the engines talked about have turbos).

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Sorry Jim. . . there have been a couple people I've heard of who have custom-fabricated what you are looking for. I am 100% certain nothing is available commercially like what you want.

I know the 4-cylinder version of our Cummins is available without turbocharging, but the 6-cylinder has never been offered non-turbo that I'm aware of.

There has been discussion on TDR before about setting up an engine with a supercharger instead of a turbo, but no one has done it. Party due to a supercharger is not as efficient and it is working all the time whether or not you're getting on the throttle. Turbos work so well on diesels there's not much point in doing it another way.

I have wondered what a naturally aspirated 24-valve could do with a serious head porting, cam and injectors, exhaust headers and open exhaust. Nowhere near the HP as a turboed version, may not even produce as much HP as a stock turbo Cummins, but for someone with time on their hands it might be fun to try.

Another guy on NW Bombers built a split manifold and ran 2 small turbos in parallel as an experiment, HY35s with 9cm housings, but it ran terrible. . . total dog.

THANKS VAUGHN

I see a 1st gen 1 ton at truck stop occasionally that sounds like the old split manafold. He runs hot-shot , 35-38 ft trailer, guess I need to try and talk to him... ... JIM
