Was researching parts and see that some are using Spohn track bars. The threads are a couple years old so I started to wonder if theres any more updates. Their prices seem good. Also is anybody using their "extreme duty" ball joints? Thanks RC.

I put on Napa's non-premium ball joints on my brother in laws 93 f 250 just recently, upper and lowers and they were all greasable, and all 4 were around $75, this is a 2wd truck though

I installed the Spohn trackbar on mine. I had BAD death wobble! Installation wasnt too hard, and so far it has cured the shaking. In my case, the frame socket for the factory trackbar was wallowed out, so I had to go aftermarket. Got pics if interested.

I installed the SPOHN adjustable track bar and the steering box stabilizer at the same time, the first time I drove it, it was as stable and tracked as well as my NEW F150 4x4 good stuff!!

Thanks guys! Cowboy, yours was the post I was following and I was hoping you'd chime in. I think this is the route I'm going. How's things in Nevada? Wished I'd a buckaroo'd there when I was a bit younger! Later, RC.

we're just peachy here in NV, and the buckaroo'in is still keepin us busy. glad you read my thread, this was the best mod I made, just for the handling improvement, second best was the FLUIDAMPER, (smoothed out the motor a BUNCH!!) all the power in the world dont mean a thing if ya cant point the thing in a straight line!!! (it's safer, too, I even let my wife tow my horses with it!!!)

forgot to ask, RC, hows the cowboyin' in Iowa? it's been so dry here, I'd have to staple the stamp on the envelope to send ya a snail mail

Well, after over 30 years starting colts, shoeing, giving riding lessons, a 12 year stint fire fighting, I make a lot more money driving a truck for UPS delivering toilets. Sure do miss cowboying though! Love that big country YOU live in though. Later RC.

Hey, RC we have a common interest, me and the UPS driver here have a "relationship", everything I own or use (especially performance stuff for the trucks) has to be delivered by UPS, this is STILL a cowtown, so ya cant just go buy what ya need, less wally world carries it. So when Terri calls (UPS girl) I meet her down on the hwy so she doesn't have to run that grumman POS up my 4 mi dirt road THANK GOD FOR UPS!!!!
