OK guys... . I PM'd Herb (redneckdr) for help, but I gotta get this thing back together ASAP before it starts to rain. His instructions call for TWO PAIRs of wires to run to EACH high beam... why? He is also talking about an extra lug on the relay that just isnt there! I have relays with 4 lugs: hot, ground, switch leg, and headlight output. What the heck is lug 87a? What am I doing wrong? HELP!!

Brian, I'm not sure what youre talking about, but if you're talking about the coolbulbs.com harness, I had it so that one factory socket ran the hi beams, and the other factory socket ran the low beams.

If youre trying to beat the rain, dont bother switching pins (again, if this is waht youre talking about).

It'll work the way it was sent, just your hi beams will run on the low beam circuit on the 9007's.

Thanks Patriot, but Im building my own harness per redneckdr's instruction sheet. To me, there are a couple points that are unclear in his writing. Oh well, I must be a little 'dim'. LOL

OK... . I've got figured out! I went back to AutoZone and puchased the only Federal Mogul relay in the place... it is a 5-lug relay as opposed to the 4-lug relays I bought originally. I think I'm on the right road to proper harness making now... thanks.
