Ever consider a remote control marine type light. Iv'e got a GO-LITE cordless remote model in suction cup mount. 1 million candlepower and it is great. Even up to a hundred yards or so in the deep woods or tooling around the campsite and what a feeling when lighting the way around corners on the back trails. Would not get caught on the state or county roads though.

I thought about a remote light also, but some of the local population around here like to "borrow" stuff that isn't securely mounted to the vehicle.
