I believe both products are very good and both have their particular advantage and appeal.
For the most part or better yet, the most important part is the ability of the dealer/applicator.
I just recently had a lot of work done on my truck with Dale of
Rhino Linings of New London County in Groton, CT. Ten hours from start to finish for the bed, rocker panels from the trim line down, special color, uv protection, inside tail gate jambs and lower splash area, and a few other little touches
So, it was not just the product that I was interested in, it was the quality of the work. I looked at many of the Sprayed On Lining dealers out on the market and Dale’s work was consistent, of high quality and lasting. Time is money (my money) and Dale and his assistant worked their asses off, never taking more than a smoke break.
You see, I looked at several trucks that he did. One in particular had the bed done three years ago. This truck has no cover, is not garaged so, it gets the suns full uv rays each and every day and it has not faded at all. The texture is impeccable as was the case with all other trucks that he did.
The fault I saw the most with other applicators applications was the inconsistency of the pattern. I saw jobs where the product had high and low spots, was runny or too textured. One truck that I saw where the dealer just finished and was awaiting the customer had all of the above deficiencies :0
Ok, I rambled on long enough
