I want to have a Spray in bed liner done

I have seen many of them and was going to go with Line-X my concern is how tough Line-X is and that my cargo may slip less with Rino liner

my friend has somehting else from cap word i forgot the name it feels like rino liner what do people say is the best to get to keep the cargo from sliding around?

In my experience Rhino is the softest so it tears easiest but cargo stays put the best on it. Line-x is the hardest - least likely to tear but stuff slides much easier on it. Permatech is right in between the two. I have a Permatech liner in my current truck.

Line-X is a nice liner. I've had TUFF on my last two Dodges. It's the "stickiest" for non-slip I think, but not as resistant to shear as Line-X. Since it is softer, it will abraid more readily.

Man you're good:-laf I've been told Rhino is a little harder than TUFF.

Get the Line-X and secure your cargo. Line-X is no worse that the painted steel in regards to stuff sliding around.

I LOVED the over the rails LINE-X liner in my first 01. I could put a 5 gal bucket of deer feed in the back and it would not tip over for 8-10 miles. Get Line-x, Just my $. 02

Another vote for Line-X, the Rhino linings I have seen were more smooth.

I have a had a few now with Line-X and to me the surface is more like non skid.

I have Line-X and it is definitly harder than Rhino and it is fairly non-skid. It is not as sticky as Rhino as others have mentioned but much better than a drop-in. I had a pallet of about 20-8" concrete blocks I had to pick up from Lowe's and the forklift guy set the pallet partially in the bed and partially on the tailgate then used the forks to push the pallet and blocks on into the bed since his forks weren't long enough to put it over the axles. I cringed, afraid of what all that weight did to my liner but once I got it all unloaded, I couldn't even tell where it was slid from.

I've had Line X & Rhino & prefer the Rhino myself. Cargo doesn't slide as much with the Rhino. Both are good liners & if the company does the prep work thouroughly B4 spraying they both hold up good.

How is the color matching with line-x after a few summers? It's a about 2 or 300 extra, does it hold up?

I was thinking that, or typical black and a vynal cover over the bed.

If I color match, might as well show it off right?

After reading the posts about Rhino being more sticky I had to check it out more.

The business that has done our trucks always told us they use the same material as Line-X but buy direct and don't do it through a "Line-X" franchise.

The surface is much more non skid than the Rhino linings I have seen but maybe they have changed their product also over the years.

I have got Speedliner in my '04. 5 and I just ordered a new 2500 Mega Cab and I will have that installed again by my dealer before I pick it up. I am very satisfied with it and will never own another truck without it.

I have heard of Line-X but I have never saw a truck in my area with it.

I've had good luck with Line-X. it does fade, but they make this stuff that darkens it back up. And I've had the forklift pallet of bricks put into the bed and slid to get it over the axles with no damage. However, sleds with carbide skis will cut everything.

I have a Super Liner in mine and like it, but I saw a Turbo Liner in a truck on a lot here and that has to be the best looking liner I have seen yet. Actually looked like a drop in liner, just painted on so to speak.

Line-X is the original and in my opinion is by far the best but check the installer out first.

When was Line-X established? Rhino was 1988. Which is best? I think it depends on your use. Rhino is softer and stickyer (easier on my old knees), Line-X is harder slicker and tougher.

My Line-X was done by a dealer that didnt prep the bed properly. He also sprayed it very thin and refuses to fix it. You can peal the liner off with your hands. i would check out the dealer. I do think that Line-X is a good product. i have just run into am incompetent dealer
