thanks I had Line X in my Wrangler it held up well to us welding in the roll cage with molten splatters landing on it for several hours. All the Rhino dealers seem to be far away and in crappy areas. Line X is in every town

i think I am going to go with Line X since i will be hauling axles and engines

i have seen the Rhino tear and scrape but I have also seen it hold a portable winch from sliding off road where Line X I am sure would not have.

From what I've seen there isn't enough difference in material to matter. For me it's more of an issue of the guy spraying it in, and the shop location.

I had a line x sprayed in mine within a week of getting my truck.

Dealer did not do it, but had a pick up customization place that did them.

Prep work was great, and it is done real well. I had the over the rail line done, and they feathered it on the outside so it looks like part of the truck.

So far has held up great.

Agree with everyone else, the prep work and who is spraying it on is what is the important part.

I had speedliner in my first truck and just had it put in my 2500. It has a rougher texture than line-x which I like because it keeps things from sliding around. I got the black and had it spaltered with maroon specs to match the truck and had the toolbox done as well. I'll try to attach some pictures. View attachment 63899

Hey, there's no hitch in the back of that truck. What good is that? :-laf

Also, those cool chrome bars would get it the way of the 5th wheel.

I've had 2 of my trucks done using permatech and I love it. I've had 4 friends follow my lead and they all love it as well. It is thick enough to hold stuff in place and I've shoveled loads of stuff out without doing any demage. Also for those that let the dogs enjoy the rides in the bed, this material stays cool to the touch but has enough grip that the dogs can get a good grip also.

I went with Line-X. I've used it relentlessly, and the only thing that has happened is it has faded a little. There is a dealer in town, so I'll see if they have something to darken it up again. I am very pleased with my Line-X.

In my experience Rhino is the softest so it tears easiest but cargo stays put the best on it. Line-x is the hardest - least likely to tear but stuff slides much easier on it. Permatech is right in between the two. I have a Permatech liner in my current truck.

I love my Permatech liner and would reccammend it over the others any day!!

ive had line-x in 3 rams and a taco and never a problem. it is harder than rhino and things will slide on it but it looks the best and stays that way! the stuff is bullit proof. i would rather have things slide a little and have it be durable than the other way around!!

It's getting the LineX done now

I am one of those picky people so what I am doing is using the lineX for hauling the heavy nasty stuff and on top of it will be the Mopar rubber mat for hauling my new auto parts and other light stuff that I dont want to slide around and it will be easy on the knees. The lineX shop said that people do this all the time

LINE-X dealers can vary the texture. The heavier the texture, the more slip resistant. Just tell you dealer what you want.

You can opt for Xtra (black or color match) or Ultra Shield. Both are fade resistant. Xtra is the newest and most durable and the most maintenance free.

Here's sort of a close up of an Xtra color match on the door sill. Perfect color match, glossy, appropriate texture for this application, and classy looking. And, it will always look this good.
