Does any one make a spray-on bed liner that you can spray it on yourself with an air compressor and air gun? Does the spray-on material come in different colors? Like dark green. Thanks for the help!

Why would you want to spray it on yourself, seems kind of kinky:D

Yeah, don't stop to take a "whiz" without washing your hands! ;) :D

I saw all the prep work that preceded the actual spraying and it was worth it to have someone else do it!

Rhino liner in mine cost $ 400. $ 650 if you want color matching. SWB.

Also got a cute little Rhinocerous key chain.

JBoone- You don't want to do it yourself. I've seen allot of people try and then have a cracking or peeling problem and then you left with a I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER-house-mess in the bed of your truck. Spend the money and get it done professionally. Get it Rhino Lined.

Check it out. Rhino Linings

Most auto parts stores sell the stuff by the gallon, there are several different ones available. Be prepared- it isn't cheap. But I still have to go back to the "Why would you want to do that" question. I watched them apply my Line-X, and there is alot of prep and the application itself is done (If it is done right) like an artist. It is also applied at 150 degrees or so, the heat being part of the chemical bonding process. Have someone else do it, you'll be happier;) .

I too have though about this route, but have a case of the "what ifs" it peels, looks like cr@p, doesn't harden properly.

Check out Ebay, do a search on "spray bedliners".

Thanks for all the input. I don't want to spray my bed. I want to spray some old (but sand-blasted) nerf bars. I would also like to spray about 6" or maybe up to the molding, down each side of my truck. The paint bumpers you see on a sport. I would even paint them with it if I could match the dark green. Due to the high cost of new parts. I have to make old ulgy parts look nice. See, you guys thought I was crazy. DON'T WORRY !!! I'm only half-crazy!Oo. :D Oo. :D

spray in liner

i have a linex type application. was there when it was sprayed. would'nt have wanted to do it myself. color was a very close match to bed. they used about 4 gallons on an over the rail application on an 8 foot box. this type was very easy to work with and easy to taper the edge to give finished appearance. not as think as rhino. has held up restty good but i dont use the bed hard. even withstood some pool chlorine spill with just a slight discoloration. all in all i am satisfied. about $400.
