Has anyone tried Speedliner? Someone gave me a brochure the other day, and it sure looks interesting:
• Uses kevlar fibers for strength and resilience
• 4400 psi tensile (supposedly twice competition)
• Potential for graphics effects and colors
Does anyone have experience/knowledge of this product?

Thought I'd throw my . 02 in here. I went with the line-x. Here is why -

I found that that the rhino is a little softer, which does prevent things from slipping around in the bed. Problem is that it also gets really soft in the hot summer sun, almost sticky. Also, remember, that the line-x can be applied to achieve different textures - some more abrasive to prevent slipping, and some a bit smoother. Line-x also offers a coating that goes on over the liner itself to prevent fading. A buddy of mine got that. To tell you the truth, I don't think the line-x looks bad when it fades, doesn't get chalky, it just gets dull.
As for durability. I think the hardness of the line-x makes it more durable, less prone to tearing. In the case of the gentleman who had the holes punctured by his camper - With the Rhino, I imagine the plyable characteristic of the this liner allowed it to "Give", while the line-x, being much harder, was punctured. Although I still think the line-x would be more durable for the most part.
Sorry so long,

Craig

I pick up my new truck at 9:00 AM tomarrow and have an 11:00 AM appointment with Line-X for the bedliner. I was going to get the Rhino liner, but decided on the Line-X becasue of the responses from this post. Thanks guys. This site is fantastic.

Ok, Here's my experience with my brand new Arma-coating. Took Godzilla in yesterday morning. Met the owner at the shop. He had a 2000 red Ram dually with Arma-coating liner, used heavily as a work truck. He said that is his 3rd Dodge CTD and he loves them, also really liked Godzilla #ad
Had one of his guys even give me a ride back to work. Called after lunch, truck was done. Owner himself even drove Godzilla back to my office to return it! Beautiful!! Lifetime garuntee as long as I own it. Owners name is also Tom #ad
Total cost was $375, as estimated. This is for 8' bed and over the rails.

I am quite happy.

If anyone is interested, the place I went is Armacoatings of Sacramento, on Folsom Blvd. in Rancho Cordova.

Kodiac beat me to it... I don't have many specifics on speedliner yet and the website I found was rather lackluster and non-specific. However after being almost certain that Line-x by Armacoatings was THE spray-in liner to get I heard about the speedliner which I had passed over in my intitial search...

Here's why I may choose speedliner over Line-x:
The local volunteer fire department of which many of my friends are active members has a grass rig with a line-xed bed. The fire chief/friend is in the national guard and his regular job is in a body shop. His shop has put in line-x and did the department's truck. His shop now uses speedliner... to do it over again he would have preferred the speedliner. I may also go this route because while I do imagine that it has a lifetime guarantee, it certainly WILL for the lifetime of my friend the applicator.

What intrigues me about this product is the Kevlar, the supposedly toughest copmound yet, the 4 available formulations for the amount of grip/texture desired, and the "most complete preparation"... apparently the bed is scuffed and also primed before the liner goes in.

I will ask about this some more and get some first hand info... maybe try getting a sample(s) and testing it against the FD's grass rig's line-x.

I WILL let you guys know.
