long island members?

anyone in central ct?

Did you say there will be something there that we can stick over my stacks to get the smoke outside. I'd rather do that than disconnect my exhaust. If not let me know. . I may be able to bring along the old exhaust hoses out of the firehouse.

Yes Todd, There are metal hoses that can go over the stacks. The guy's at Kauffman's do a good job of padding them, but neither Kauffman's or the MDTDC will be responsible for any damage ;)

They have been on my stacks before :)

Greg,

Thanks for the update. I gave it to Nancy and we are going to discuss it shortly. I will advise of her suggestions. Sorry to hear about your truck. Hopefully you get it back on the road soon.

My neighbor is interested in coming in his Powerstroke, is he welcome to join us?

The Mason-Dixon Turbo Diesel Club is an ALL BRAND club ;) If it is diesel... . it is welcome!!!

PS. I'm the VP of the club... ... ... . did you notice what I drive? :-laf :D

Hey I got a question to all those who have timing tools and the ability to do it in an hour or two. Would anybody be interested in setting my timing for a fee while waiting at this thing? I probably won't be able to get to this event until 2-3 O'clock, but I would really like my timing bumped soon so I get better fuel mileage and more power of course LOL. Anyway want too? Or is working on the trucks prohibited or frowned upon at these events? I don't know, just asking. If somebody can and wants too just PM me on how much you would want to do it while we are there. Thanks

One thought... how are we gonna set up the vittles... that will make a difference on how we make sure everyone gets something to eat or drink and folks out on the fringe didn't waste their money and take a bunch of stuff home...

swmnkdinthervr,

We set up some tables in the shop. Most of the finger food and snacks gets set out as people arrive. Right before we break for lunch, we fire up the grill and start setting out all the main lunch food. Then it's cafeteria style. Don't worry... . no one has ever had to take a bunch of stuff home. ;)
