Spring Fling Saturday, April 29th.

Hey I got a question to all those who have timing tools and the ability to do it in an hour or two. Would anybody be interested in setting my timing for a fee while waiting at this thing? I probably won't be able to get to this event until 2-3 O'clock, but I would really like my timing bumped soon so I get better fuel mileage and more power of course LOL. Anyway want too? Or is working on the trucks prohibited or frowned upon at these events? I don't know, just asking. If somebody can and wants too just PM me on how much you would want to do it while we are there. So what happened? Sorry you can't make it.



This is quite an impressive turnout we're having.

Long story short, the buyers for our property bailed on us at the settlement table, for the second time. I do have a $10K deposit in escrow, but can't touch it yet unless i realease them from all liability, and I won't do that. / So money is tight at the moment.

It's getting close guys... ..... just a few thoughts. I spoke with Nancy Kauffman and she is going to make a big container of scalloped potatoes. Please keep in mind... . as always, food will be in short supply at this show as we have a large number of people attending. It would be greatly appreciated if everyone brings something to contribute to the food supply. Whatever is brought - please have enough to serve at least everyone that is in your party. We want to ensure that everyone gets their fill of food. This should be an awesome show with the turnout and the weather that is expected. See you tomorrow!

I noticed there is 2 people on the supply list for picking up hamburgers. I stopped by Sam's today and picked up 2 boxes of 1/4 pounders. (80 total)

I picked up 3 boxes of Turkey Burgers, (36), also, for those of us with high cholesterol. :-laf :-laf Along with 84 hamburger buns, and 72 hot dog buns. I have a feeling they're gonna go quick, though. I also got 2 tanks of propane for the grill.

I have returned home after a crappy trip to Roankoke,Va on my nightly turn run. I will be there but may be a tad behind as I need a nap. I am going to try and make it for about 8:30ish am... ..... Andy

This was perhaps the best event yet. I didn't get the final count, but I bet we had close to 100 trucks. GORGEOUS weather - perfect.



Really some beautiful machinery on display, including a couple very clean First Gen Dodges (Wanna was drooling... . ), at least two 06s, lots of 2nd and 3rd gens, and even a GMC Duramax and Jeep Liberty CRD, Powerstrokes, and even the Ford IDI guys showed.

Thanks for a great job to the crew that put on the show, Wex, Greg , all. . Today was busy but fun. It's good to see it growing each year. I just about lost it when I saw 60 trucks in the lot by 9am.



Brad and I were both looking forward to seeing the little CRD post some good numbers but the folks at Diamler chrysler forgot to mention that the ECU wigs out when the back wheels spin and the front doesnt.



4-wheel dyno here we come.

I left right before the cummins converted Super Duty Ford dyno'd... . it had a P-Pump 24V and twins, anybody know what numbers it put out I'm really interested!
