My '92 250 4x2 was sagging about 3". Wanted to get it up to level, so I installed a pair of Moog 7226 coils, hoping for at least a 2" lift but only got 1 and 1/4 inches. Looks much better but still not satisfied, so may try 7226S. I assume the S stands for severe. Anybody gone that route before? What were the results? Is there a cheaper or different way to do this? Hate to buy another set of springs. Anyway, that's what I'm thinking about. Also, my truck sags 1" to the left, my buddy's sags 1" to the right. I see online that they sell spacers for 1994 on, but I see no remedee for '93 down. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank's ahead of time if you can help. Pat

'92 4x2 stock, except for Pacbrabe and 60# springs, grey peeler.

There is a spacer for our trucks. There was a service bulletin on it. If you do a search you can come up with the part number.

I put the 7226S springs in my truck, they raised it up 3-4 inches from what it was, the tire was about an inch up into the fender. Now 2 years later they've settled some, and it still looks ok.

As far as the one inch sag on the left, I would change the rear springs from left to right and right to left, that will usually fix it. With years of the driver and the fuel tank it is not unusual to sag on the left. With air bags I run 30# on the left and 20# on the right. At 300,000 miles I changed out the front springs to the 7226-S. On level ground the tires were level with the fender well edge, now they are about 3" above the tire.
