6.2L GM Diesel -- Front light strangeness

Hi Has anyone heard of anyone working on mods for the sprinter engine? also does anyone have any info. on the bottom end strenght of this engine to accept more hp. have seen some decent looking r. v. conversions around but wonder about all the extra weight seriously effecting the performance an mileage. Even the god of R. V. s Airstream has a sprinter conversion.

there probably is some power mods avalable in europe. that mercadies 5 cylinder diesel has been avalable there for a while now [2 years, maybe more] propane injection is something that should work well also [unless the egr gasses might ignite the 'pane in the intake?]

Nozzles

I think that on the TDIclub, Kerma mentioned that he might be getting some bigger nozzles to sell for the Sprinter engine.

I beleive that I have seen his posts on the TDR. .

I have a couple of sets I got for my TDI and I like them a lot. . Kerma is a good guy to deal with, and I met him once at a TDI GTG! You might e-mail him and ask about the nozzles.

Drive ON!

We have a fleet of 5 Sprinters here at work. They have been nothing but problems, especially:

Brakes last only 8000 miles, very, very small rotors.

Alternator system is only adequate for a panel van configuration. Any additional air-conditioner units or DC items will cause the battery not to charge.

Transmission programming problems.

Cheap quality control on many items. We bought them thinking we would get good Mercedes quality, it's been anything but good.
