with my moddes what would be the best single turbo investment for me. I pull a little but mainly used as a daily driver.

I just put on a Super B Special and it really smoothed out my power curve, I should have done this a long time ago

Cholman will be on here i am sure of it, he loves his SPS62 as much as i do. rather than going off again i am just gunna cut and paste my other rants...

im here!!! i knew you would be too chris, i really should save this quote somewhere: i absolutely am in love with my SUPER PHAT SHAFT 62! i have tried and destroyed a few turbos and i cannot believe the night and day difference that i see with my SPS. its a great turbo, spools really well, not as well as a dodgezilla but runs cooler and pulls harder. just ask pwrwagn, we just went for a "lil ride" he he he. i dont tow much but i know it would do well, egts would be in check and the spool would be acceptable, i havent even started talking about the customer service of ww. industrialinjection.com those guys are the best and will stand behind their product as well as i have ever seen. it may cost you a little more, but as i have learned (the hard way) you get what you pay for and will be happy in the end. what do you think chris should i just make that my signature?? email me chris i have a lil video to send you from me and pwrwagns lil ride at lunch. .

You can't go wrong with any of the turbos mentioned, but I stiil feel that super stock 62 is top notch. The killer wheel is hard to beat... . fast spool & keeps cool. It would be my first choice.

I don't have experience with the other turbos, though the Industrial Injection ps62/14 has been a good turbo for me. I run DDP 90 hp injectors with it. I pull 10-12,000 pounds from time to time, and it also runs 13. 4's over 100 mph at an 8,040 pound race weight. That's coming out easy with a 2. 0 60' time. It's a true all purpose turbo. I don't have the newer sps62, though I hear it's even better. Either way, I'm very happy with my purchase. I also got a great deal on mine. . I'll PM you. .

This is on a 2nd Gen truck... right?

looks like everyone loves there turbos and i thank yall for all the comments. If everyone love there turbo then that leads me to ask this question, what is the difference between the sps 62, ss62 and the super b?

Oh yeah, I love my turbo alright... The super streets are nice, but I wouldn't trade my SPS 62 for anything, but a Silver bullet!!!

Unless you are building a set of twins, or the stocker shrank/cracked, I don't know that it is really neccassary for a better manifold. The engine does seem to breath a bit better, and slightly lower the EGTs, but for the cost of it, the gains are minimal.

I replaced mine because the OEM one shrank on me.

???? i understand this is an upgrade but you think it is necessary?

It is only a must have if you have a cracked stock manifold, but chances are it is going to crack if it hasn't yet. You will be swearing at it later when you gotta tear into taking the turbo back off to change it.
