Competition Rear Springs for Pulling

Competition Results from TTPA pull in Elkton, Mi. 9/3/06

The Phat Shaft turbos have a 11blade 64mm exhaust pinwheel, the Super Phat Shaft turbos have a 10blade 71mm exhaust pinwheel.

I think that the 66mm wheel would be sufficient for me. I am looking for 610hp and still be able to play on the street.

I'm in that area with a SPS 66.

Thanks for all the replies. . Has anyone actually went from the SPS66 to a silver bullet, and have drag racing results from each? I'm sure someone's out there. This is for my race truck. More fuel is available than a single could use. . I took the truck to Garmon Diesel to pull the motor, and rebuild it so it will be hopefully dependable. . He's making it race ready with a single and spray. They're even reinstalling the AC. . haha. . Nothing like a full cage and air conditioning. . I just want the best proven turbo for the job. . Driveability, and towing is not an issue. One good thing with going the single and spray route is I can sell the . 120 lines, II hybrid big brother, Poole twins kit, and water meth as one big package. . I'll recoupe a little bit. .

I would be interested in a few things when you decide to sell...

Also, Jim-

With a Silver Bullet, what kind of hp should I expect? Is 610 a low number? I am sure that you have more pump tuning than I so that would account for some added numbers.

I have a prostreet 66 which I am guessing is remarkably similar to a SPS 66. The silver bullet spooled slightly later, but would spool faster. I noticed about 50-100 degree less temp with the Silver Bullet. Those weren't back to back, just seem to notice that overall the silver bullet cooled a little more.

No, I was thinking about it, but Brady said the only time he thinks it would benefit is if your over 4000rpm. I might check with them to see what it would cost to upgrade to it. I am hoping DHRA will tame the street class a little and put out a 2. 6mm rule. The 66mm chargers are so streetable, cost effective, etc, etc. Plus you can still push 600+ through them. You going to scheids??

Yeah I'll be there. Hopefully get to hook tomorrow in the street. Maybe DHRA too.

I like the 2. 8" rule but whatever... . the 71's cool much better in my opinion.

I just went from a Sled Puller 66 to a Silver Bullet. Big difference! Loving it so far. We'll see what a difference makes at the Edge event this weekend.
