Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Sputtering at higher speeds

I have recently installed the Banks computer (TLC) on my

'98. 5 24 valve 4x4, auto



About a month after installing I took my first towing trip. My truck started shaking at about 50 mph while cruising, like it was trying to shift into a lower gear, then it started cutting out here and there, like it was missing (as a gas engine would).



I don't know if this is banks related or not, because it did 't happen right after install. It seems the sputtering is getting worse, with or without towing. I have put a new fuel filter on and that didn't help.





Any thoughts?????

Lift PUMP! also try putting anti oxydation grease on all the electric sencors, mainly the vp44 plug in, ... but sounds just like lift pump dead
