Ive been battleing a Spy for a MTH its title is w-w-w-. -a-d-b-l-a-s-t-e-r-2-. -info

IT countinued to popup and ruin my web time. . Ive been using adaware v6. 0 it works good but coundnt get them all. I also used SPY BOT Search and destroy same results I managed to get a copy or the famous **aluria ** and scaned found a few files and deleted them but the problem was still there,,I even used a program called ***STINGER*** same results I then resorted to 4 free downloads @ sites thatd let you scan your computer and show you the bad files but you have to pay for the program to deleate them. . The adblaster files was not in the log... but alot of other junk showed up ... Im sure they do that to sell there product so I steared away..... I broke down and... ... .



I purchased $50 software from mcafee and updated and ran it found 30 files. . I deleted them and still I had the blaster. (I SENT A COMPLANT TO MCAFEE THEY ARE STILL LOOKING IN TO IT).



2 weeks of searching web for help and no dice



FINALLY I came Across my answer in a FORUM called SPYWARE WARRIOR



they clued me in to the new verision of ADAWARE witch is free ADAWARE has always been free... the new version is ADAWARE SE you'll find it here along with Spybot Search Destroy just click on the links provided

If you still have a problem the admin at SWW will direct you to a small file to use to check you computer and it gives you a log file you then post the log file to the forums and they know exactly what problems you have



I ran ADAWARE SE after I ran updated Versions of Spy bot and the $$50 mcafee ANTISPY ... . my results... ... . 110 problems..... WOW!!!!!!! and it was free ... guess what it found in my computer the BLASTER had 50 files it was clinging to on my computer



NOW MY COMPUTER is running great thanks to SWW forums and I just wanted to pass along my good fortune



Heres just the ADAWARE FILE IF YOU DONT WANT TO MESS WITH EVERY THING ELSE... do your self and your computer a favor and down load it and itll update and start on its own the company LAVASOFT adds updates all the time ITS FREE AND LEGAL ... ... If you want a different Browser other than like NS or IE, go to a new system called Firefox. www.firefox.com It is a free download and I was having problems with pop-ups and such but so far the firefox is like it is the 90's again. the browser is an open source so if you have sugg. for improvment, you cam E-mail them. It was designed by a college student frustrated with what we are going through... . When you download, you can import all your bookmarks from the other browser for a hassle free change. Just use the firefox instead of the others from then on.

Ive been using Mozilla firefox for a year now and I love it I hardly ever use IE.

I downloaded both of those yesterday. I had an older version of adaware,but downloaded the better one at your say so. I ran a scan,and it found a lot of stuff(like over 200 things),and quaratined them,and or removed them. I then downloaded the other thing and ran it. It found some other stuff,and removed it.



The thing is this morning when I got up and went on to check my e-mail I noticed 3-4 pop-up's on the screen,even though I had not been on the computer since 11pm last night. I leave the computer on most of the time,but IE should not have been in use while I was sleeping yet there they were. You have any ideas?

Make sure your blocked list in your firewall is still there for some reason my firewall blocked list was whiped out when I removed a program spy evidently some spys cling so goos that it may differate your wanted programs all the deleted files are stored in both those programs you can aways undo removal and just remove the ones that your sure of. I just re entered my blocked apps in my fire wall and all is well. . Do your self a favor and I garentee no pop ups and I know you'll love it Down load MOZILLA FIREFOX it works with everything IE does... . but you should not uninstall IE because thats also the windows navagator for your computer just use mozilla fire fox for web browsing its jam packed with help things you never thought of and after useing them you'll wonder how you surfed the web with out them... its turely great get it here BTW its free Im prtty sure its a netscape adaption... . so far ... 15,037,758 users----4. 7 MB and dont worrie one of the fist things it does is runs a unique set up witch allows you to transfer all you IE bookmarks... it just gets better from there.

As far as using IE,I rarely use it,I prefer using Opera. It is also a free program,as long as you don't mind the top portion(below the buttons)being a ad banner. It is a great program,and uses some cool features like mouse gestures which allow you to right click on a page and gesture the mouse to the left or right to go back a page or forward a page,almost like reading a book. I love it just for that feature alone,oh yeah and no pop-ups. The thing is sometimes it will not work on a particular page,but very rarely now with the most recent version. ou should check it out.
