my dealer states the wheel bearing is out and to replace it will require a complet wheel assemble cost about 300. 00 is there any after market parts or a cheeper way out

Check to see of the U joint is loose in the steering knuckle. If its loose, its the cause of the squeek, not the wheel berrings, but just as hard to fix. Got to pull the axle shaft to swap them out.

On the 4x4 the bearing and seal can be removed and replaced for less than $50,any auto parts can get them for you. Make sure it isn't a worn brake pad's wear tab making the noise first.

check the u-joints. I went thru 3 of them in 75K miles. They will definitely squeak! You can reach thru the yoke inside the wheel and wiggle them to feel play. I replaced with NAPA greasables and have had no more problems (NUJ 374) & less than half the price of mopar. Funny thing, NAPA joint is a Spicer, Mopar is a Dana. Dana-Spicer one company? hmmm
