My 2001 Auto has developed a squeak after long trips.

It seems to come from in the cab behind the seat I'll be damned if I can find it. I've tried tightening every nut and bolt in the area.

So if anyone has had a similar squeak and found it please let

me know.

Thanks Chuck

I've got your squeak... can't find it either. I know the Powerstrokes get a similar squeak from their quad cab doors, but I'm pretty sure it's not the doors in my case. If you find it let me know it drives me nuts.

I have the same squeak in my quad cab. I have tried everything I can think of including taking the rear apart and tightening all internal hardware. Now I turn the radio up. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place if you have a regular cab with the same problem.

Shortly after installing my SS tube steps, I got a squeak too. Turned out the mounting brackets were rubbing on the frame. A simple adjustment eliminated the squeak. This may not apply to you guys, but just something to look for.
