My clutch pedal is rough feeling and "squeaks". It is not from dry pivots either, definately coming from the hydraulics. Wierd thing is it is fine and smooth for a while then "squeaky" and rough movement towards the bottom of the travel, then smooth and so on. Someone here had bad clutch hydraulics and DC said others were affected. This has been doing this before and after a SB clutch. We replaced the release bearing and pilot bearing as well.

Any ideas????

Hmm mine has been doing that. It's a chatter feeling I get when moving the pedal slow. It's smooth if I move it fast. I tried WD40 on the metal shaft and it didn't help any. It feels like maybe a rubber seal that's wearing out or something. I have 122k miles on my truck.

The piston.

I had this problem. Dealer half hearted attempt to lube was temporary. Second try has worked fine since February. I don't know what they used, but I would try silicone spray lube or white lithium grease. Any way it's fixable. It might take more than one application

Sorry I'm guessing. My wife did the second complaint. She said it was inside under the dash. Looks like they sprayed lithium grease wright on the master cylinder shaft. It can be a bit of a magic trick getting under there, but you'll see it. Just follow the clutch pedal.
