Squeaky dash

Well this is my first post, I have 04 3500 4x4 and when I medium or larger bump I get a really loud squeak and is getting real annoying, I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you fix it short of buying a new truck. Thanks in advance Paul

Where is the squeak coming from when you hit the bumps? The precise location of the squeak could identify the cause of the squeak, and possibly a solution. It also might be that the cause of the squeak is something other than the dash itself, such as something located under the dash. Another thing you could try is to run a screwdriver over all the dash screws to check if they are tight.

First thing to try are the fender bolts right by the windshield. They have caused strange noises in more than one car/truck I have owned.
