About 18 days later I returned after replacement of two J-58 engines manufacture fell was easier to change than work outside under tarps, I kind wonder to my self, someone should have there head examine. Could not even turn engines over as oil was now frozen solid, had to ship heaters to Alaska up to those units both engines and hydraulic system.
Once everything was ready to start spinning the engines was easy part looked at counter under the throttle we were out of TEB so next afternoon was delivery by KC 135Q tankers, snow plow came clear around plane couple firetrucks came while loading TEB in tank back by the tails. Spray the whole plane with deicing fluid then with one tanker pump JP 7 out of tanker in my aircraft since I was low, I was back in my pressure suit and ready to start again started number two first then one, Pratt wanted to do trim run I told them No, set the idles leave rest alone remember we are setting on ice ramp, the tarps were gone so as I started.
I slowly taxi to main plow runway ready for takeoff and I was told there were to KC135Q's waiting for you as I push throttles to military max then lift throttles in to afterburners as normal two lit first then one I lifted off turn heat up a tad and move throttles to 1.6 to warm skin up and went to the tankers for full refill;
