SRT-10 Hood/Bumper Cover production ended?

Hey, my 1st post! Hello all... I recently joined and have a 04. 5 CTD on order.



This morning I was told by the Dodge parts mgr that the SRT-10 Bumper cover cannot be ordered and production must be over! Same for the Hood (except he said something to the effect that maybe in the future that the hood will come out again).



I almost cannot believe this... what about repair stock for the Viper trucks that were/will be in accidents.



... . Anyone know any details on this?



... Anyone know the orginal part vender?



I want to buy a SRT-10 Hood/Bumper cover set. They must be available somewhere.







BTW the dealer is where I ordered the truck from... Malcom Dodge in Peebles, OH. They are a great bunch of people, especially Bob and Sharon Malcom. They have supported car events for many years. As much of Mopar enthusiasts as they are I thought they could get the parts for me. I'm hoping their parts mgr had just spoke to the wrong person with bad info.

Thanks Bertram65... . forgot about e-bay. Boy it did not take long for something new like this to get on there!



Spoke to a friend who says that they could be ordered. Sounds like this SRT-10 stuff is out of the normal dealer parts pipeline. At least I hope that is the case... he may call me back with the same news that they are unavailable.

They can be ordered directly through your local Mopar parts department. I ordered mine through the dealer, cost around $500 for the hood, $150 for the bumper cover. If you have a "Sport" truck, then you will not have to buy the rebar that goes behind the bumper cover. The rebar for the "Sport" and the SRT-10 are the same. Good luck.

Thanks Peter. Saw your name often in the forum search for the SRT-10.



It appears that not all dealer parts men are the same. Guess this SRT-10 stuff requires some effort... to dig into the books to get the accurate info.



I did a search here and was able to get the part #'s. With this I hope this other parts person will do better. Things are looking better.

Can I get the part number for the cover and rebar? I just crunched my front bumper, on my SLT, and would like to put the SRT-10 bumper on, much better looking.
