Srt-10 hood insert

Does anyone know of an insert for the scoop on the SRT-10 hoods? I'd like to have one for the winter. I could probably make one out of acrylic, but I figured if someone already had the template, it might save me some time.

I have the SRT-10 hood on my truck I used the grill insert from the "Daytona" package. Here is the part number if your interested 05174261AA. I think it was less than $20. 00. It's exactly the same as the SRT but no holes. I don't know if they are the same for the '06.

MK... ... ... . the dealer says the part # you gave me is no good. He put it in with a bunch of variations and came up with nothing. R U sure it's right??

I double checked and that is the number on the back of my insert.



I did find a pdf file that shows a sketch of it with the part number as 05029484AB. However that might be the SRT version with the holes. The pdf file is too large to upload.

I think the parts guy is a crackhead. He told me to find a "Daytona" and get the VIN off of it so he could order the part using the VIN.



Couldn't you just see some guy in a parking lot writing down your VIN?? That's a "whoopin" waiting to happen.
