Competition power lock in the front?

Someone help me, I can't stop thinking about this truck. I have always wanted a high performance vehicle. Something to drive on nice sunny days, something that'll give ya' that funny feeling in your gut when you put the "go" pedal to the floor (my 99 CTD comes close). Ever since I first caught a glimpse of the spec's on this truck, it has been on my mind.

A Viper is way out of my league, and I think this truck will come close to my "need for speed". And the best part about it, it's still a truck !! Don't get me wrong, I will not get this truck unless I can still keep my 99 CTD, but I would love to have this truck too.

Anyone elses's curiosity stirred up ?????

Still not crazy about that "new" front end, but the specs for this sure have my attention.

Wonder how many $$$$$$$$$ we'd have to part with to purchase one? :{

Better start placing advertisements in eBay and Yahoo! auctions so that you can get rid of that pesky spare kidney.

500+hp 8. 3L V10 gasser... is that impressive to me... not really.

800+hp B5. 9L Cummins... . is that impressive to me... . oh yeah!

and the look on the F-Body owner's face after the smoke has cleared:(

Who cares about the cost

I bet if you add up the cost of all the bombs I've done to my Cummins powered Dodge it would be well shy of the price of that truck. (I don't know if that's good or bad)

Rattlebox, I agree with ya, that thing is way too cool:cool: I would love to see it go up against a Lightning. :p

That is one mean "Snake":)

UPDATE on tires. Those are 305/35R24. Which translated to 32. 4*12R24 the sidewalls are 4. 2" tall.

AND as of right now, NO tire copany sells a 24 inch tire.

The truck looks pretty sweet.

a set of 23" tires and rims costs around $6,000

Here is another thought for all of you who like low profile tires on large diameter rim. My tire guy just loves you all. When you put that combo on a heavy vehicle and hit a pot hole you are at best looking for a rim straightening and possibly a new tire. A worse situation is that you blow the tire and possible both on the same side. You can see where this is going...

Another thought: Low profile tires and heavy loads don't mix. I bet those things do not even have a load rating. But they do have a speed rating. ;)

My son-in-law saw a Lamborghini recently and said it had 315/35R24 tires. He did not see what make of tire it was, but somebody must be making them. I know it would be awfully hard to find one. I would keep a few spares lying around.

OK, at the auto show, there was a copany selling large rim tires, and he said he couldnt order 24's rims or tires, so i aumed nobody made them yet.
