Hi Jason,

Just to add to everyone's comments, your mount is really a nice piece of work! Thanks again. By the way, offhand, do you know what size the factory mounting studs are? I want to get some nuts to better hold down the unit.

Regards, JRG

Hi fellas,

Most of the Mounts going to people who have sent there money shipped late last friday or will be going out monday.

Sory about the time delay, things have been busy at work.

I will not be making any for a few weeks, but I do have a few extras from the last order. If there is anyone out there that wants one let me know.

It should take around 7-10 days to get to you.

Thanks,

Jason

The finishing touch!

A side note:

To help give the excelent piece of fabrication that little extra look I polished it with mothers, now it looks like chrome, be prepared to spend some time doing this, it takes a while.

Also to finish off the sharp edges both of the filter rest angles (so I dont cut the prefilter) and the edges that face wires and the top I took some door edge guard and slipped over the edges. I used black, but I bet chrome would look good also.

Just a thought for that little something extra!

Doug

Good deal,

I am glad to see that everyone is happy with the mount.

I have not tried the mothers on one yet but I bet it looks great.

I am making one for my truck out of diamond plate its going to look Oo. can't wait to find enough time to finnish it.

Thanks,

Jason

Jason,

Yesterday I mounted your stainless steel pseudo-mallory mount on my truck. Smooth installation. Covered the edge with small plastic tubing with a slit cut down the side. Then taped it with some silver duct tape. Looks great, the plastic tubing over the edge protects the vacuum tubing and freon duct in the back from rubbing. With the BHAF installed, it's amazing how it spools up so smoothly. Before the installation, the engine would surge at 2000+ RPM. Now it smoothly surges from idle +. Great mount, thanks for making them.

Thanks Jason!!

Got the new SS Boesl BHAF mount installed, and just wanted to say that I was very impressed how well it fit, and how nice it was made to clear all the different things around the area where the filter fits in there. It sure helps block the turbo heat from the filter along with the turbo blanket. I contact cemented some small tubing where the filter sits on it too, and added nuts on the 3 studs where it bolts to the fender. Nut size is 6mmx100 with 1/4" fender washers and 1/4" lock nuts. Nice piece!!!!!!! Thanks

Hey Jason, I just found your post... Still up for another order? If so I'm interested.

One thing I called two NAPA stores, One said the #2790 was a small motor part for $6. 20. The other said they could order it but didn't know what it was. Also couldn't find it on napaonline.com. Am I having a stupid day or is it the rest of the world? What filter are you using? Got a number. Thanks JJ
