Steve, did this product ever go into production. Availability, status? The power I've got, just need to get rid of the wheel hop on expansion joints, etc.

thanks

Yes, they did go into production. Enterprise Engine Performance ( http://www.enterpriseengine.com ) is distributing them for me. The only problem is that I have to order the parts and pieces in quantities of 10 sets at a time. As far as I know Enterprise is sold out of them right now but are taking names on a waiting list for the next batch of orders, at the rate that requests are coming in that may take a while :( . I was hoping that sales would be brisk enough that they'd want to stock them on a regular basis so people wouldn't have to wait. The inquiries have been coming in at about 5-6 per week to me but I don't think many have put their names on the waiting list. My guess is most want instant gratification - unforetunately I don't have the $$ to fund that. I didn't really want to be in the position of selling them in the first place, but I'm doing what I can. AFAIK everyone that's gotten them (about 18 people so far) is very happy with them, we have had one person that cracked the forward mounts on a short bed set and we replaced them and are monitoring that to see if we need to come up with a different solution for the front mount on the SB's, the other 3 people that have bought the short bed sets haven't had any problems (I contacted all of them and asked them to watch it and let me know if any problems). Noone has reported any problems at all with the LB kits.

So I go to the site, but no listing for the traction bars, or mebbie I'm site impaired (the wife says it has to shout my name and wave or I don't see it!!) Are these free or does the free enterprise system function here with the exchange of $$$ for goodies?

Andy - You have to call them... I tried to email them and go no responce. I need to call and put myself on the list too... .

2 wheel drive

Steve, did anything happen for the 2wd shortbed crowd? You may have seen my posts about the Rancho bars. . . it is looking like those may not work on my truck. I was wanting to avoid the welding part to avoid additional costs and potential problems (I don't know any good welders!).

Thanks, Vaughn

There are two kits, one for long bed trucks (2wd or 4wd, QC or RC), another for QC SB trucks (2wd or 4wd). There is enough room on the frame to move the mounts up or down (or flip them if you need that much height) to work with all of them. The instructions have you use an angle finder so that they are setup properly. I can't post prices here on the forums consistent with the guidelines. If you call Enterprise and ask for Doug he'll let you know prices and put you on the list.

Steve, I hadn't heard about your traction bars until now, I've been thinking of designing/building a set myself, as the current ones on the market don't perform adequately for my taste. Do you have any info or pics you could send me or post here... I am NOT asking you to divulge your design specs or give away your secrets... just want to know what sets your bars apart from everyone elses. Ed3

In the FWIW department, I've already decided to get a set. But I've also decided, I lived a couple of years without them; I need to make that last payment (about 12 to 18 months away) before I bite the bullet.

PLEASE HANG IN THERE!!!

Guys. . I have them. . they are great !!

cured the wheel hop and spring wrap up , also a something that I didn't think would show up. . great help in straight hard braking and in twisty mountain roads powering off the tight corners is much more predictable . . another thing [to me the most important] is the wheel hop in the deep snow no longer stops foward movement and with a dually that is saying something.

they are everything I expected and more.

I just talked to Doug at Enterprise. I put my name on the list. As of today I am #5. He needs eight orders before he has them made up,so three to go. He also said it takes about four weeks after he orders before he gets them. Any more takers?

Satisfied ladder bar owner

I've had a set on my 4X4 SB since July of last summer and no problems so far. I've inspected them on a weekly basis and with alittle silicone spray on the joints they'll hold up for along time. The hardest part was finding a qualified installer in my area. I've also been surprised at the improved traction in snow conditions. Thanks Steve!

I am #7 on the list, one more and they order the batch. There has got to be one more quy out there that wants to do away with wheel hop and get better traction. How about one of you drag racers??? That traction problem is killin ya. :D

Will someone e-mail me with the $price of these bars so I can think on this purchase!!

I don't want to violate the rules.

Well since I am not a vendor and not selling anything I can post the price as I know it, $485 plus shipping. I will say that I do not know it this is the current price as I did not ask. It would be best to call them and find out.
