St. Louis Area Gathering for February or March

I am starting this thread so anyone that is interested in getting together with the Gateway Diesel Owners Association to talk about getting a chapter of the TDR going in this area should respond and get a time a date set. We have had good luck at setting this up at the Township Park in Edwardsville IL. in the past, but we are up for suggestions where to set the meeting.



I want input as to where and when so we can get the most people together and come up with a plan.



What do you think? Is it a go?

I am game for a meet. and once again i dont see any pro's or con's to a TDR chapter. what is wrong with the club we now have?

Todd, the way it is going there is more interest in the area for a chapter to be started. This in no way has anything to do with the

members of the GDOA breaking up. In fact, we touched on that same fact at the last meeting. What we were thinking about is if a chapter is started, whomever wanted to join could, and when the meetings were held (or events ) the GDOA could attend at the same time

Todd; Probably the biggest advantage to establishing a local TDR chapter is the opportunity for F**d owners to repent ! (It's a joke,powerstrokers,just a joke. )I think the GDOA will be alive and meeting together with a TDR chapter as long as there are diesel loyolists in the St. Louis area. Michael, I know you've been interested in having a meeting in your area for awhile now. How about everyone agree on a date(as much as that is possible ) and you arrange the location. I'll be there,lord willing. George, glad to hear from you. Anyone hear from Mark? Steve

I'll keep an eye on this for dates ... . I just made a marathon out there and back ... . have a few more to go before I relocate to St James, MO in May .....



I'm all for getting a chapter started ... . I'll even help out!

Hey Keith, I guess my memory is not what it used to be as I thought you were moving to the area in February



Steve, Mark is buying a new Harley next month, so I don't think he will be coming to many meetings Not to say he isn't interested at all, but his direction for having fun has been swayed.



Why don't we pick a group of Saturdays and see which one gets the most votes, not that this thread is on fire or anything. We need a lot of input, so we need to get the word out to get interest up.

Hi David long long time no see or hear not your fault. I would have come in Jan but I was putting a painless wiring harness and a 30psi fuel presser gauge in my truck. I will come to a meeting in feb or march. But I am leaving for Fla on 2/8/03 and will be gone for two weeks so late Feb or anytime in March will work for me. I will try to bring a fellow rammer. the ups dropped off the last of my parts tonight at 5pm(exhaust manifold gaskets) ATS manifold is together and and adapter is bolted to it. Turbo and Exhaust down pipe is on the floor ready to bolt on. I am working in the ER tonight and Steelville tomorrow. looks like either Wednesday night if it is not too cold or maybe Friday. either way it will be on come this weekend

Sorry guys, I voted for March 1st and forgot I would not be able to make that date until the afternoon time. Also, I wouldn't be able to make the February 1st date either until the afternoon time. I will vote again for another date

Yeah ... Feb was the original plan ... . but they needed me to stay a few more months ... . looks like mid-May now ...



March 8 is looking pretty good for me ..... I should be out that way right around the 8th ..... moving the wife out ahead of me ...
