SWR TUNING IN VEGAS !!!!!!!!

In search of Local chapter

well I just got something delivered that should add to the excitement on the 28th too.
looks like the smoker will see a turn on the Dyno afterall. #ad

glad to see your back in the game DON, BTW I have a tow strap we can use to get her up the small ramp to the Dyno #ad

Gees, Just cause a guys truck is old and worn out, some people sure do like to poke fun, don't they #ad
#ad
I was just over on the Fuh, Far, For, oh you know where, site, and Chris is telling those guys my poor old ram smokes so bad I can close down four lanes of traffic #ad
It don't smoke that bad does it #ad

Well, I am a little disappointed in the amount of DODGE trucks that are coming to this event. I never thought when this thread started that Chris would gather more F**D trucks than DODGE trucks. What happened to Shannon? I have not gone back through the posts, but I don't remember him posting. What about nemies and 2shus? I have not seen a confirming post from either that they are going to come. I have talked to Markcuda and he is trying the get his Barracuda back on the road and will come down if he is stuck on getting parts or gets it done before hand. any way, all of you out there lurking email me if you don't want to post or get to posting so we are not the underdog. I don't meen in the power category, just the amount of trucks. It was us that started this gathering! Are we going to outshown by the F**D guys? Come on and lets get some more posting from the ones out there that live fairly close.

Hi all
I will be there, transmission will be here for the cuda but I can wait to put the motor in. I see my cuda much more than you guys,so you guys win this time. LOL. See you all on the 28th,wife has not committed to this one yet.

Hey Guy's I'm still here, I just am not sure if I am going to make it or not. My new track loader is suppose to be here tomorrow and my other half wants me to get to work so I can start paying for this thing.
Don, Chris is right. Your truck will black out 4, I say 4 lanes of traffic. I have seen it more than once.
Remember that turbo housing I found on the road, it is now on the truck. I guess now I'am going to have to buy another boost guage. The 35 lb guage just isn't quiet enough. I will try to make it on the 28th.

Shannon, Recycling is where it's at Dude. I guess this means my old parts are good for something then Huh. Now if we can just get Bowhunter to show up on the 28th we could start to have a Ramfest, kind of a thing. Mark, glad to hear you are going to be joining us,always fun when your around.

Ok, I have emailed some of the earlier posters and found out that Nemies will not make it this time. 2shus did not reply. WYD said he will be there. Glad to see Shannon is coming and Mark, too! I am stil bringing the grill if I have my truck back by then. If not then Todd will probably have to stop by and pick it up. Chris is bringing some steaks along with the other F-D guys bringing some things. We will get to eat or sample from a variety of food. I beleive WYD said he would dyno too. I will dyno if the truck is back on the road, so Chris add this to your list. This will be a good outing and a great time.

David

I thought I would come over see how you all do it. That is if you don't mind a Hoosier coming over. Let me know if I can bring anything.

Eric

Eric, if you need some directions e-mail me and I will send them to you. I assume you will be coming in on I-70 so the directions from there are very easy.

Guys; Looks like I can be out of the tournament around 1-130, hoping to make what's left of the meeting around 2. I figure the tow truck will just have unhooked Don's ol' smoker about then anyway. Steve W.

with the weather the way it is today I thought I better ask.

what will we do if rain, will we still Dyno and do a restaurant or what?

the shop owner would like to know if we will cancel all together or still show up if raining.

thanks Guys/Gals

As far as I am concerned, the weather has nothing to do with the gathering. No Ice or Snow. There is nothing else to worry about.
We have met with it raining before.

Ok, I am ready. The truck is back on the road after surgery #ad
All is well, so far. I am ready for the dyno. Hope all goes well and the dyno owner has a way to pick up engine rpm. See all of you on the 28th.

I am pretty sure Kenny, myself and the Poor Old Worn Out, Cummins Powered Ram will be there. I am taking it to the Truck Doctor tomorrow, to see if he can get the poor thing to run good enough to make it to Edwardsville on the 28th. One interesting side note, there may be a Hybrid truck with me when and if, I get there. Can't give to many particulars, just that it is not Cummins, Powerstroke, or Duramax powered. Looking forward to a nice laidback, relaxing kind of a day.
Don

Don, did you get your truck "fixed" today? How did the exhaust work go? Or is this going to be a "wait until saturday thing"? See all of you in 1 1/2 days.

To all that came by today, I had a great time and hope all of you did, too. Hope this is the beginning of a lot of gatherings that turn out this big. I did not do a truck count but I think we had over twenty show up. Mike, did you get a good count? Let us know. See all of you in the near future.

David

By the way, someone left a blue jean jacket on my tailgate. I have no ideas who it belongs to. E-mail me if it is yours.

David

I had a great time yesterday, it's good to put a face to a name. Dave good job with the event, BigDQ I am still blowing my nose and getting black soot (its great). The perkins powered truck, what can I say. It was nice to see the Duramax get on the dyno, good hp numbers but had a problem getting the tq numbers. All in all I had a good time and look forward to doing it again.
