I'm going to tell my mommy, you can't have two Ram Turbo Diesels!!!

I would like to come down and see you pull. It isn't that far for me to come.

HOLY COW,BATMAN!! Don, I just noticed your signature. Way Cool! So we're doing June 30th,but how many St. Louis Area members are going to Farmington for the Jamboree next weekend? SWW

I am going to try and make it to Farmington. I am waiting for directions from Don. Once I get the day and time I can then see if it will work around what I have planned for that weekend.

congradulations Don, on the new truck. #ad

I plan to go to farmington too, just wasnt sure what day is the "good" one. anybody else going maybe we can meet-up somewhere.

I talked to Jim @ turbo connection and he said we're on for the 30th. he said it would be fine with him if we meet at his shop to BBQ and drink "soda" as long as we feed/water him too. #ad

he said, that if anyone runs and they dont get torque readings, they only pay $50. 00, or if they just want HP its $50. 00 #ad

Ok - June 30, I really want to make this one. I'm anxious to see some of your rides. I also need some directions from Rolla, MO. George

Todd, I might be off base, but I just can't get the thought out of my mind that we are supposed to FEED and WATER the person that is charging us for the dyno runs? I could see it it he was just about giving away the runs. Sorry, it just hit a nerve with me the more I think about it. Is this true or is this just a statment by the owner in jest?

I asked him if we could meet there and BBQ instead of the park and he said that was fine and said as long as we feed him and that it would be better, because we could get statred earlier.

I Quess he was joking, but dont know for sure. how should we handle it, i agree he is charging alot for us but he is also ussing his people to load and unload the trucks.
traditionally I think the Dyno shops open their doors and theclub members have to do all the work. that is how they can do $30 runs for the club.

the other option we have, is to rent the Dyno out for the day. he told me the first time we could do that, and I think it is still an option. I think he told me $600 for the day, but i can reconfirm that price. doing it that way, if we got 15 trucks it would be $40 a piece. but we would have to get the money up front from the guys wanting to run and then refund any if more show up the day of.

I was thinking about the food situation. I would be willing to bring 10 steaks and the grill. We need to get with the Ford guys and let Chris start a list. I would say around 40 steaks and some hamburgers/hotdogs would suffice for the meat. Then other people could bring the salad, potato salad, baked beans, etc. to complete the meal. I will put this up on the F-D site also.

Hi Guys

The 30th will work for me also. Sorry I didn't make the last meeting, I had to work. I might be able to bring a couple more trucks with me also. Another 92 and a Ford P. S. that has been worked on by Jerry McLain. Both are interested in the dyno run. I will know for sure as the date gets closer. See you'ns on the 30th.

Shannon

well it looks like "the smoker" might have to see another run on the Dyno. :)

I accidently bought a set of Bully Dog 4's this weekend. :D

see you all on the 30th, just look for the black cloud moving across town. :D

 Be VERY careful with Jerry Mc Clain anybody can turn the max fuel up and adjust the advance cam with a pare of channelocks not to mention the two engine problems I had that he couldn't even come close to fixing or even tell me what was wrong. I'll be bye if it dosen't break again.

Any of the lurkers out there interested in coming? E-mail me if you are. We had a great turnout last time. This will be a good time with a lot of great people. I don't have a count as of this time, but if I had to guess there are going to be at least 25 trucks there. Let's get this count up to 35. What do you all say?

David

I talked to Jim @ turbo connection Monday night. and he is getting stoked. his employees told me, he has been bragging to everybody about this event and is ancious to get it on. he is also glad to see some repeat business and has had a few guys come in, to get things done to thier trucks.

He thanked us for talking about his shop and getting the word spread about his Dyno. who knows, maybe he'll buy a diesel and start playing too.

hope we can park them all. :D

Can't make it now

Well the wife forgot to tell me that her parents were having there 50th wedding party that day. So have fun and see you next time. ;)

Guys, it looks like Kenny and I will be there without the Toy this time:( Custom clutch setups take lots of time to get put together:eek: It sure is a good thing to have a spare Cummins powered Ram sitting around the house, it just wouldn't feel right coming to a Diesel thing in a Mazda :D :D
