Hey all. I want to get some input on where and when we can meet. Have any ideas? This is posted on three sites so I will try to keep up. We can always use the Township Park in Edwardsville. I will try and use the place that the most trucks can meet and the date. Let me know.
I don't know the date yet, but there is going to be a test and tune day in Marthasville, MO, for the mini-rod pullers. This day would also be a day when one could maybe, possibly, hopefully, get a sneak peak at the all new and improved BIG BOY'S TOY, if anyone would be interested in that sort of thing.
Don, that sounds like a good idea. Post as soon as you know the date. I am going to wait to see what other posts come and try to get the most trucks to attend. I know Kenny has been on the Ford site. Maybe you or him can post about it over there too.
Dave; Sounds like a winner. Look forward to seeing everyone. Need a fuel filter lesson, hoping somebody eill show me how to change it. Couple of other surprises "in the making" on the truck. See you there. Steve W.
Ok all, sounds good. I will bring the grill and you all can bring anything you want to cook. I will not be bringing anything extra this time. I have had too much left over lately.
Kenny and I are going to make time in our busy schedule to be there. Also if anyone would be interested they could go to quaethemmotorsports and check out the new website.
I wish you all would meet on sunday's. oh well Anyways keep us in mind over here on the KC side were gonna be comming east to play. Don nice website I cannot wait to see the 1/4 mile drag truck that should be a treat! Oh well look like the Ford from Hell will be back on the road once again. I cannot wait!
GeoVeo, If your coming in from 44 let me know, I usually get on at Pacific (mile marker 257) and head straight in. I'd be happy to have a little convoy on the way over!
Greg, thanks, and good luck on your ventures with the KC area diesel club. I'm already thinking of some joint endeavors between the GDOA and the KCDC. The drag truck is a 318ci powered Dakota, which is in the process of being built. We plan to post pics and videos as soon as they are available.
No hitch cover, I run a 6 inch drop hitch as a little extra protection from the local rice burners. (It has already saved me once) Though in a week or two my TDR vinyl window stickers will be installed.
Don, cool website, It would be nice to get out to the west side of the state also.
Hey Don sometime you should head over to this is side of the state we have something going on about every weekend with the KCDC mostly racing I wanna get out to the pulls real soon and try the ford on the sled I dont expect much but I at least wanna try. If you need any help chassis wise on the dakota let me know I have good connections as far as chassis shops and used parts. I looked at a cummins today 96 12valve but its a 5speed I want a automatic but the price is right 7K but its hammered pretty hard(broken windshield, 2WD, dents, bent rear bumper, looks like someone always threw stuff in the back of it on layit in there with care, and lots of scratches). 200K on the OD. but its a start on wanting to build a sub 11 Second all out drag truck
Greg, we have a dealer over here who always has Cummins powered rams on his lot. If you would like we could keep an eye out for you. Just tell me what you are looking for and we'll look for you.

12Valve 215HP Pump, Quad cab Short bed or long bed prefer shortie, Automatic, white in color or blue, would kinda like a sport package if they made them back then and a 4X4 thats about it. Just kinda want the same truck as I already have only a Dodge.
Greg, we are looking for your truck as I type this. The only problem is, in order to get a 215HP pump you will have to get a 5spd truck. Or know someone like me who may have a few extra 215 pumps lying around Something to think about when looking for the perfect 5. 9 is to look for a '98, as these motors had a second oil drain back boss cast into the block on the lower right hand side, which comes in real handy when considering dual turbos Also, if you will check the links page on our website you will see we included a link to the KCDC. I hope you don't mind.
Not at all on the link Don . we need all the advertisement we can get. I will try and get you a sticker to you ASAP! I think I will be in Sullivan on friday to pick up my wounded truck! I dunno on the truck subject anything sounds better than the Ford at this point. The lower end and Head gasket problems dont seem like they exsist unless your throwing down serious HP! 450+ or they leak due to old age. Oh well I am serious the next meeting for the GDOA should be on a sunday and I know I can get some people from KC there! We will be having another dyno probably around the first of mayso keep your eyes peeled for it!
