I know the st is a work truck version. What are the difference between the SLT and ST version. Please help me out!

Thanks

Erik

can power windows/ doors be easily converted on a ST with aftermarket stuff as seen in the hot rod mags?

The ST's I looked at before buying my unit had vinyl seats, AM/FM radio, hand power windows, no cruise or A/C and rubber floor mats. My 90 W150 didn't even have a head-liner. Now that was a truck!

ST's generally have no power options, seats may be clothe but not the multicolored type.

Usually related to interior options, but may have basic wheels.

I believe the cloth is an option on the ST, AC is standard on all trucks now I believe. You can do aftermarket windows/locks/cruise, but most look like the afterthought they are. By the time you add the aftermarket windows, locks, cruise, etc. the "savings" of the SLT is gone, and you still take the depreciation hit for the ST vs SLT.

Go with the SLT, it's a much nicer package. Resale is also significantly better on the SLT than ST.

Mo'Donnell's right,

If your even thinking of adding the pwr windows, get the SLT. I heard the difference was $1,800. 00. When you go to get rid of it, you'll get alot less than $1,800. 00 difference compared to the SLT IMO
