Calif NUT CASE!!!!!

I have a similar product called "Xtreme Get-A-Grips" that I got years ago. Not nearly as an aggressive sole as those i.e. less spikes. We seem to get a high amount of freezing rain occurrences here and I am sure they have saved me from doing the "ELECTRIC SLIDE" on more than one occasion. After seeing the picture in the link you posted of them I may look into treating myself a new pair. :)

Wow. studded boots.

I wear calked boots in the woods most all winter and into spring. My only advice is to remember to remove them before entering a store or your home. Wives are particularly sensitive to any pock marks on a good floor. They'll spoil hardwood pretty quick.

No Dave only have the OEM crack but wear a few bruised spots from hitting objects on the way down.

Never had a problem in MT course we didn't have a lot of concrete to ice skate on either. Was doing some job observations when I hit the pavement. Found out That I don't bounce as well as I use to.

Yes, gravity is a little different with the bounce as we age. This getting old is not for wimps. How in the world did you wind up in Indianna ?

Dave

Been an ice covered disaster here since the first part of January, get a bunch of snow, then it rains, then it drops down below zero, repeat, repeat,

I took a huge digger Saturday, was out shoveling the garage roof and the decks. Snow was stuck to the ice so no problem. Walked around the corner of the house where it starts downhill towards the lake and the next thing I know I'm looking up at the sky....I hit my head twice as it bounced one and then hit the ice again...next sound I hear is the wife asking if I'm ok...

Had a headache for a few days, but otherwise unscathed...Told the Wife if she saw me with a Ford Brochure in my hand to knock me out again and then take me to the doctor....

Got a Major Oil company that was willing to pay me into 6 digits + bouns if I could bring their driver accident rate and driver problems with cross dumps & contamination of products down. We've been here since June last they've had 0 on both counts. The bouns is adding to more than the salary.

Seeley lake had a huge fire so while mother nature is taking care of that we came out to make money see a different area.

6 figures and bonus sounds like a good incentive. Good luck although skill probably is better and I am sure you have the latter.

I hope that you Gentlemen don't mind I seen this open when Gail was napping from driving back from Kentucky to take us to a Valentines day Breakfast. Gail was recruited by the CEO of the company from prior experaince working with him on some of the disaster relief projects. He said that he wished that he could get in touch with him but he retired and moved, a driver gave him Gail's phone number. As UNCONVENTIONAL as he is sometimes, OK MOST OF THE TIME He's pretty good at what he did. The wages he makes go to our Grandchildren's Educational accounts.

Gail really likes it here, we live in a very rural area outside of Indy. In Seeley Lake he was known by the fact that he had married me was concidered part of THOSE PEOPLE. Here he fits into the populace as if he was born here. He buys Starbucks coffee (Yes we have one) & the donuts for the Barber Shop gang almost every Saturday. He's driven corn & soybean harvest equipment which to him is like going to Disneyland. He loves the Amish way of life and has friends of the Amish and gets a kick out of helping them sometimes, even though he is the "English"

sorry to have barged in but I thought that you might like to know.

That's a great way to enjoy retirement!

When I watched the film I was definitely impressed, although we don't typically have the ice and snow down here that folks up North have to contend with every Winter. It did remind me that some years ago I was a mounted cop and took several painful spills on concrete and asphalt with my horse. Some of my cohorts used borium or drill points welded or braised to the steel shoes to reduce the chance of slipping and sliding. After my last accident I bought a product called 'Easy Boots' that fitted over my horse's hooves' and completely eliminated the chance of his falling. I was also able to let him run barefoot when he was in the pasture. Sorry, for the tangent but I can certainly appreciate that this footwear, similar in concept to what I'm more familiar with is, can be a real life saver.
