SDF80 filters not available?

What's a good price for a used HX35 turbo?

Does anyone have a stack out the hood and drives on the street? I know it's not street legal. I was wondering how the noise level is compared to stacks in the bed. I have a regular cab so the stacks are right behind the cab. When I run the twins the noise is ok but the single charger is pretty loud.

There is someone on here that has a single stack out the hood and dose run it on the street, if I remember correctly. I don't remember who it is, maybe someone will chime in with a name.

RWallace (formely) Cummin Fast used to have a 98 12V Reg Cab 4x4. Lowered, bed cut out, twined, Garmon from end to end race truck. It had a 6"er out the hood and he drove it on the street with no law problems.

However, other private reasons forced him to sell the truck. :(

so is there room to put a stack out the hood on a single?? It seems as though it would be much easier on twins... .

I think a stack out the hood looks nice. Much better than stacks in the bed, IMO.

The second twin hangs down around the midline of the truck and NO you couldnt route if back up and out the hood.

LEGALLY: it would classify as a visual obstruction and you'd be harrassed for it if not ticketed. not to mention if it were to be considered too loud.

Most states require motorcycles to have muffled exhaust too. that doesnt stop me from hearing them 5 miles away, day and night.

Thx. I would think with just a single it would be dang loud. I would think that with twins, it would be more like turbo whistle tone and not so obnoxiously raspy sounding?

Yeah it would be loud with a single, I'm wondering how it would sound inside the cab. My stacks are in the bed now, I have a regular cab and with a single they are a liitle loud in the cab. I have twins right now but there going up for sale. So just wondering if the stack through the hood would be any quieter since it would be a little farther from the cab.

tru dat brotha. I cant stand being pulled over by a cop because my truck is to loud, only to have 7 harleys pass by that are waaaayy louder than my truck is.

A buddy of mine has a 2000 silver dodge with a single stack out the hood that he puts on specifically for the truck pull season. He is running a single charger that is HUGE. Not sure on dimensions but it was custom made for him. He swaps back and forth between the two. Oh and he has the intake on top of the hood two. Looks sweet going down the track!! Even saw sparks flying out at the pulls in Nevada.
