stack question

[83 crew cab]

Ok how high does your stacks stick past the cab and acan you open the back window with out the cab filling with exhaust I would like to keep my stakes around 1 to 2 inch above the cab not not sure of how much back draft I will get in the truck with the back window open thanks George

Oh boy! You dont wanna go only a couple inches above the cab. Actually, on my '93 with stacks at least a foot above the cab, a black cloud would pass through the cab if I opened that back window. My resolution: ... dont open that back window. Actually I have all the stuff in the bed of my truck right now to do my 5" exhaust w/ dual stacks, Im just waiting on the downpipe to come. I'm not gonna stick them up as high on my '97. It has the solid back window so I dont even gotta worry about that cloud of smoke.

I don't have sliding rear glass, so can't help you with that one, but the link in my sig has some pictures of my stacks. I'd say mine stick up about 1" above the back of the cab.
