Which oil gets the best lab results?

Why is seat belt useage so low among Southern PICKUP

"IF" their done right... . Not sticking out 3 feet over the cab. Minimum of 5 inch pipes, 4 inchers looks funny to me, and like I said, cut down to proportion... "look at readers rigs"... Now that I have my SPS 62 along with my ATS arch flow and ATS exhaust manifold 5" turbo back stright piped, I haven't even really listened to the radio. It's not because it louder either, it's actully quiter than before, I just love the way it sounds, along with everyone that passes me giving me thumbs up! "which is at least 4 or 5 people a day". :-laf

I agree with CHolman. 5 inch minimum, not too high, and definately not outside the box. They sound awsome, especially on a 1st or 2nd gen. I like them so much I am working on a set for my truck.

skargo

I'll be the odd ball and say that I dont think I would ever have stacks on my truck. I just cant see giving up 2 foot of bed space, and cutting big holes in my bed.

I've seen some tastefully done examples that look very good. I wouldn't personally have them on my truck however.

Stacks for me are kind of a yes and no for me. First off I'd never cut holes in my truck and put stacks in it. Athpugh I like to see them on other peoples trucks. However if done properly I think they look good. They cant be too high, or too large in diameter. The lift and size of the truck in general seem to have an affect on stacks as well as long bed or short bed. But most of all I think stacks look the best on DRW trucks. But a nicely done set on an SRW looks goo too. And they must never be outside the bed. Just my . 02 :D

Short & fat looks best to me, slash cut or turn-out, but I just can't stand the thought of trying to clean the smoke off the top of my new 5'er. It's just a whole lot easier to clean it off the bottom. But I'd really like to have them.

I agree to what is said above, they can look really sharp if done well. I have had a 2nd gen with stacks and now my 3rd gen has stacks. Pics in reader's rigs. they look better when you are blowin' smoke IMHO.

I like stacks on a flatbed equipped dually, but am not too crazy about them on a pickup, especially one without the dual wheels. I have had three combinations of stacks and prefer my current setup best. It is a 3500 extra cab flatbed with dual 4" stacks. I made brackets to bolt the u-bolts to the headache rack. They only extend about a foot above the headache rack and turn out at a 45 degree angle back/out.

Who in their right mind would cut 2 5" holes in the bed of their new truck to put as set of obnoxious 6" stacks on a pick up!!

Oh yea I did!!!! :-laf

I love stacks. Someday when I get tired of my Truxedo bed cover I will get a set. I roll my cover up to much to get them right now. But I got bit by the stack bug last year when I went to IRP and saw all the trucks with stacks. I saw one Ram with 8" stacks now those were HUGE! -Jason

For me its love hate. I go from back and forth from my stacks to a 4" tail pipe all the time. I have a slide in camper so it is a pain to throw in the camper for a quick trip. But I do love the way they lure in duramax's and powerstroke's for a little race!!. I also agree they look a little better in a dualie.
