Thinking about putting in stacks and I'm wondering if there's going to be a problem with the spray in bed-liner. Don't want the truck bed to catch on fire!

Also; how noisy is it near the back window in the cab?

Thanks!

Hi Big Mak, you shouldn't have any problems with the spray-on bedliner from the stacks if you maintain an air-gap between the pipes and the bed. The only time I've heard of or had any heat issues are with the original bedliner and running very high temps for hours on the highway.

The sound of stacks depends on your tollerance for noise. If you don't mind some constant exhaust sound, you will be happy. If you prefer no exhaust sound then the stacks will seem noisy or loud. It is worse in the back of a club cab.

There are many methods to quiet your truck if you are concered about noise, even with stacks. Send me a PM if you are interested in discussing custom stacks or Noise Issues

Did a set on Emdiesel's rig and his Rhino has yet to show any signs of heat. The beauty is that when you drill the hole for the stack pipe the heat from the hole saw spread the rhino over the fresh cut metal thus sealing it again

Ive had my stack in for over a year now and no problem with the Rhino liner. The Rhino was in months before the stack. After a 200 mile trip to the beach I noticed the liner was a little soft right around the stack, but it hasnt melted or hasnt came off. So thumbs up for the Rhino, as far as noise, Ive got a single 5" stack straight piped and it doesnt bother me, but everyone that rides with me says its loud ?:D

I have a set of stacks, and a bed liner (not spray in) and I havent any problems yet. The noise is as Greg said it, it is all tolerance. I am pretty much the opposite of Greg though, I run a 4" down pipe into a straight 5" the rest of the way back up into the 5" stacks.
