Japanese diesel engine gives the Cummins a run for its money

Veggie oil instead of hydraulic oil

not sure if this is one of those famous "revisted" threads but was unable to find any useful information!

have noticed the last couple weeks that i have washed the truck, that the tips of my miter stacks are starting to blue. i use mother's chrome polish on them religiously, but after a day the tips are starting to blue again! does anyone know of any sort of polish that prevents this? also, does this mean the chrome finish is going bad on my stacks? TIA.

i heard something about painting the inside of chrome exhaust headers with extreme high temp paint then put them on and use the heat from the motor to cure, then recoat and do the process all over again, about 5x's. sounds like too much work, and ive never tryed it, and again this is on a gasser, not a diesel

Go to the local Harley dealer or any other motorcycle parts place and they will have a product that coats the inside of the chrome pipes to keep them from turning blue. I forget what the product name is.

What to use

This Mothers Chrome Polish is it also good for polishing up the stainless steel OEM tailpipe on our trucks or would someone recomend another polish for this.
