thinking about going to a stack kit but wanted to know if running regular exhaust sounds better or if it sounds better with a stack kit im thinking about running 6'' stacks with turnouts

Depends.



Some poeple like it one way, some like it the other way.



If you are going to striahgt pipe it, I'd say Stacks sound teh best,, if you are going to muffle it with a "loud" muffler, then out the back, or side would be best. Definataly keep it well over the cab, 6", or behind the rear axle.

And also since this is the towing forum, what are you towing that will be recieve the soot? Towing my fiver I keep it down and pointed out as far as I can to keep it off the fiver. To much money to ruin the side with the acid out of the tail pipe.



That's my way of thinking, anyway.

Just towing farm equipment thats all no fiver on my side just flatbed trailers
