Installed Gauges this weekend

Does anyone know where I can find a kit for adding stacks to my 93 1 ton Just purchased it. Truck is basically stock I'll be adding guages probably this weekend. Should I go 5 inch on the stacks and should it be from the downpipe or does it matter.

Not sure if there is a kit, but if you go to your local Freightliner or other big rig dealer you'll have a blast going through the exhaust section in the parts department ;) . Big rig stacks make great Ram stacks, and they're available in chrome, bare steel, and different sizes.

I installed my own five inch stacks on my 93'. I spent $140 per 4ft bullhauler, $90 for 5 inch Y, $26 for each short radious 90'(3), $30 for flex, and around $80 for clamps and a short piece of 5 inch pipe. I love the way my truck sounds going down the road and it is real cool to dump smoke on the car behind me. If you do install a stack kit make sure you get the short radious 90's. If you want a kit built you can call or email me.

Pics of stack build in my readers rigs album '1st gen stacks'. They should be for sale soon, but first I gotta buy the 4 and 5" pieces for what I want.

Thanks for the info guys. I was looking underneath yesterday and I'm wondering how to get around the gas tank, seems like its in the way. If I bring the pipe around and up the passenger side into the bed and then cross over I'm wondering if the passenger side short pipe and drivers side long pipe makes some sort of unbalanced airflow issue. Does the airflow need to be balanced coming out of both stacks or does it not affect performance like it does on a gaSSER. SHOULD I DO 4 INCH RIGHT OUT OF THE TURBO INTO 5 INCH OR JUST GO FROM 3INCH UP TO 5 INCH SOMEWHERE IN THE DOWNPIPE AREA, I'M THINKING OF JUST BUILDING MY OWN. (WENT TO THE BIG RIG TRUCK STORE AND LOOKED AROUND WHEWW COOL STUFF)

You won't be able to go larger than 4" and get the piping past the transmission's cross member. It's awful tight. I got a 4" down pipe from PDR and am using 4" flex. It's straight piped until I round up the cash to complete a stack install.

You'd bring the flex up through the center of the bed (or close to) , add a 90, then the 'Y' pipe to split it left and right to the outside of the bed. Then you'd 90 degree both ends to mount the stacks too. Personnally, I'll be going with 5" stacks. And they'll be turned out to defray rain intrusion while parked. But, you could also make covers to slip over the straight or mitred pipes.
