Anyone bought any of the stack kits from these folks? I need feedback on these before I buy. Does anyone have any sound clips from stacks and straight pipe? Just trying to decide if I should buy the mufflers in the stacks or leave them open. Any other sources out there? Thanks in advance.

I've run stacks (homemade) for some time now. I plan on getting rid of them and going with 4" exhaust. Stacks are too loud IMO. Also can't get into the garage with them.

member kissfan113 just purchased his 5" y pipe from black cloud for his stack setup... . he sounded pretty pleased with his purchase.

bmoller, i might just have to use that clip in one of my movies... . :-laf

Stacks are a bad idea. they are loud, hot, take up space in the bed and burn the paint... . Most states do not allow them on newer trucks also... . There was a reason that we did not put stacks on the trucks in the first place!

Actually the cheapest plan would be to remove the muffler and put a pipe in place of it... . The turbo keeps them quieted down enough to be tolerable.

If you really want a truck with stacks buy yourself an old Peterbilt or Freightliner that has a Detroit 8-V71 engine... . They had 2 stacks and made a lot of noise pre 1968.....

mysteryman you should be ashamed of yourself for telling someone to go and buy one of those green grenades. :-laf :-laf

Well Mysteryman if I went on that logic we wouldn't be bombing either. The reason they don't come with stacks is easy, it is cheaper without them.

will do. . you'll be the first to view, im in the process of putting together my latest creation... . working 70 hours a week has kinda made it difficult to finish it up
