Although I run 4" to a "T" and then divided it up/ with a splitter in the "T". Sorry I dont have any underside pics, but I made it so the stacks are in the corner as not to limit my hauling. I can still put a full sheet of plywood in the bed, with the box set-ups and pipes in the middle, it may limit some hauling of the minor things.

That's a nice set of stacks! I like that they don't obstruct bed space. My better half wants stacks for her 01. I hate to give up more bed space as she already has a crossbed box, but she said she would rather pull the 20ft trailer if it's too long for the bed. Someone should make a kit to french them into the bedsides. I'm contemplating a single stack for my repower.

has your wife ever towed with one of these things w/ stacks in it? heck, has she ever driven 500+ miles empty w/ stacks?

single stacks sound mean, I like them

crossing over under the bed is nice due to more bed space, but without a body lift, you're probably restricting flow

She's never driven anything with stacks to my knowledge, but she wants them. She has done quite a bit of towing and is at least as good as me if not better(at least going forward). As for the noise, her 454 72' C20 dumps right behind the cab with 20+ yr old glass packs and she loves it(even towing on the 1800 mile trip to Wyo). She used to race at the strip and told me if it was too loud I was lame:eek:. I love my wife:D. I think the kids in the back seat are gonna want a little extra sound insulation though, especially in the crewcab.

well i think im gonna get the six inch mitre cut's from my buddy. their kinda ruffed up a bit, but im planning on powder coating them anyhow. i no i am at least goin to get the 'y' from him set, but deppending, i dont no if it would be cheaper to just grab an old set of flat tops off an old semi in a junkyard or to buy his set off him. any body know the going rate for a set of junk yard stacks? :)

i just finished pulling the measurements, and itll work perfect the way im gonna cut a notch outa the bottom of my tool chest to run the y-pipe under it. that way i wont have to move my box or loose any more bed space.

warlock - my buddy has a 98' 24v extended cab with 6" turnouts. he just got his tool box back from our vo-tech welding teacher, he took a TSC cross-over box, cut out the corners and TIG welded it all back up. so now the box mounts flush with the cab. its beautiful. im gonna take some pictures of it for yall an get em up asap.

Can't wait. On my crew I'm planning on using a crossbed box for a S10 or Dakota and running a support frame across the bed to support it and protect the stack in the bed. Should have full bed length on floor and the box will still be at front of bed.

hmm... very interesting. i cant wait to seee how that turns out for ya. hopefully in the next few days ill get you those pics. maybe give you some ideas.
