I hate to see the old place go. I attended the dedication, the first game, two World series(67 & 68), saw Pele play soccer once,the list goes on. The Cardinals are just about all I miss from the area. Tried to get tix for the last game in the old, and the first game in the new place, but no go. I spent lots of hours there in years gone by. R. I. P. Busch Memorial Stadium!!!

The tore down my old place of work a few weeks back.

I didnt see it, but I was told they took the whole bldg in one explosion.

I don't think a precast structure with all those open area's would implode well, the logistics of busch arent set up for it either, we have one of the best explosive demo companys (SPIRTAS) in the country here in St. Louis, and as you can see it went under the ball.
