Ive been doin my research and makin phone calls. Wanted to get some input on what Im thinking. Im considering ordering an Edge Drag Comp and keeping the pump wire unhooked for a while (probably end up being shorter than I think haha) until I can upgrade more, and putting stage 3 Bully Dogs or DD's in. Will this setup strain my stock turbo to much? What would yall recommend in conjunction with this setup? How will this be as far as performance, clutch, fuel economy, egt's and smoke? I know alot depends on my right foot. Im ordering boost, pyro and fuel pressure tommorrow. I only tow frequently but dont want to hurt my towing.

98. 5 2500 club cab short bed, 5spd manual, 4" from turbo to 5" stack, silencer ring removed.

Without the pump wire the EGT will be in check. Power is awesome, 340RWHP+. Hook up the pump wire and your clutch will give up, and EGT will be 1600+ in a hurry. If you hook up the pump wire and run it hard you will need some serious $$$$ in mods to control the EGT.

Fuel economy will stay the same IF you drive the same. If you hammer it MPG will go down. Smoke from the DD3's on their own is not bad at all, and can be driven smoke free easily. With the Comp on kill smoke will be BAD no matter what the boost level is using a stock turbo.

Towing with just the 3's or the 3's and no pump wire is a dream come true. You will have to back out for high EGT if really heavy or really running hard on a long grade. Towing normal weights and normal speeds up grade the EGT is fine.
