and running great with no problems. This was one of those easy upgrades you don't get too often. After the install I rode arround a bit with the DRB to see how things were working. Idle is at 7000lbs maybe a little more than stock on some trucks. On the road what ever the ecm called for the pressure was right on. This pump operates just like the stock one till you put your foot in it. Oo. With the tst on 6/5 the ecm called for 26,000 and got 26,700lbs at the rail.

I don't have any #s yet but SOP is a noticable differance.

Playing arround with the tst and va3. 1 when I got about dialed in I got less smoke and egts. Also the boost would max at arround 42 lbs.

Which CP3 is this you have? (Floor-It?) I figured due to easy install, and I know some other Cp3's mods are not as easy :)



Did you notice a fatter mid-range?
 
It seems to run smoother with better power delivery. More linier and doesn't drop off when locked in o/d. Keeps pulling hard.
 
I Have Been Trying To Modify And Build My Own Pump Just For Fun, But The Key Part In My Plan Will Cost More Than A Whole New Pump Or A Worked Pump From Floor It! I Need A Cnc Machine Or Someone Willing To Build Me A Part, I Will Try It On My Own Truck, It Might Just Cause A Bunch Of Cavitation Though And A Loss Of Time And Money, But I Guess If I Dont Try It, Than I Will Never Know! And Also If You Speed Up The Pump 100 Percent What Do You Think The Outcome Will Be? Will It Spike Alot And Not Be Managable? Maybe I Will Just Send My Spare To I. i. And Have It Inspected, It Only Has 2000 Miles On It>>>>>>>>>>> ;)
 
Tom, his pump is from us. TCluff, I know what your talking about and if your not carefull you can run into problems with cavitation real quick!!

what h. p. should one expect with the stage one, decent twins, tst, maybe a little pressure, some 3-flows and the modded fass? :cool:

My Stage 1 CP3 is shipping this afternoon from Industrial after getting back from Floor It this week. Might have to try to talk you into helping me install it next week :-laf then we can go for a test drive!

very potent--about 650 + depends on package, if you need help with that i would be glad to help Oo.

I am off sat - wed this week, then i have a college course for a/c to attend, the boss thinks it will be a great review, plus i will get c. credits, oh well, having 3 a/c certifications cant be that bad... ... :-laf
