Here's pics of the 304 stainless intake!

ToolMan, I believe your WRX block and heads are aluminum. Subaru standard equipment. Aluminum is closer to stainless steel in (thermal) coefficient of expansion than cast iron. You need to compare apples to apples. No offense intended.

I talked with him about it and it sounds like it is close to coming out. He is currently working on getting his new powerstroke header out there. There is a picture of the 3rd gen header in the last TDR magazine.

they already make them for a 7. 3 Powerstroke, I had them on my old truck, it definately made a difference, I think

now if they only made them for a Cummins... ... ... .

Maybe I missed it but what size tubes are these stainless headers? It looks like 2" but its hard to tell the difference between 1 5/8, 1 7/8, and 2" in a picture?

I have the header installed on my truck as we speak.

Again, still seeing a couple of hundred degree difference in EGT's with the Smarty on 90HP and the TST on 2/2. Highest I can get it with that combo is 1428 degrees when before it would peg the TST at 1765 degrees. I made a few short blasts from 60-100 mph and never got over 1428 degrees.

We should have it on the dyno sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Granted, this is still in the prototype stages, but the install was fairly trouble free. There are a few adjustments that need to be made, but this should be a bolt in item when it is released.

We've installed a data logger to log EGT's at three different points #1, #6, and turbo inlet, as well as turbo drive and boost pressures. These will be compared with the stock manifold number with the probes and sensors located in the same positions.

I'm looking forward to the results as much as anyone else.
